Brave Lamb Studio plans to acquire up to PLN 1.2 million

Brave Lamb Studio, a Movie Games Group entity that produces games in the premium indie segment, launched a public offering of a B series stock on November 9. Tovildo Investments S.A., which brings together the studio, plans to emit shares with a total value of nearly PLN 1.3 million. Funds obtained from the emission will be used for the development of the Field Hospital project, whose global publisher will be Movie Games. Declarations for the purchase of shares can be submitted until November 20 this year.

Brave Lamb Studio is a team of 14 top gamedev professionals, previously working for such companies as Techland. The main producer of the game is Michal Dziwniel, working in the industry since 2010. Members of the studio have had the opportunity to co-create such games as Dying Light 2, Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2, Outriders, and Pure Farming 2018. Currently, the developers are working on their latest production – Field Hospital. As part of the gameplay, the player will manage a frontline field hospital during World War I. Among other things, the player will be tasked with the responsibility of making difficult moral decisions on which the life and death of individual soldiers will depend, maintaining the defense of the field hospital and building up its structure, while struggling to obtain resources. This will be the first next-gen production in the Studio’s portfolio.

– ‘With the funds raised from the IPO, we plan to complete the most important work on the Field Hospital game. We see very great potential in it. We do not want it to be just an ordinary computer game but rather a deep emotional experience related to one of the greatest world tragedies in history of mankind, rarely brought up in the world of digital media – World War I. We have already completed a year-long pre-production period and we intend to develop an alpha version the next year. The game will be available in the fourth quarter of 2022’ k– says Michal Dziwniel, chief producer of Brave Lamb Studio. – ‘Our team includes specialists who have worked on top Polish productions. I myself served as Chief Producer during the work on Pure Farming 2018, the release of which turned out to be a great success. I am confident that Field Hospital will multiply this success, and the funds raised from investors will help us do so.’ – he adds.

The funds acquired from the release will be used on the salaries of team members, hardware, software and ongoing operating costs of the studio responsible for producing the game. 29.7 percent of Tovildo Investment’s shares are held by Movie Games, which has also become the global publisher of Field Hospital. According to the development schedule, the game is scheduled to be released for PC, PS5, Xbox Series family consoles in Q4 2022. The developers estimate that the game will reach sales of several hundred thousand units in the first 24 months after its release.
